BRIGHT LIGHTS HOLIDAY PROGRAM APRIL 2011

The Bright Lights Holiday Workshop, held from Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th of April was a huge success. The students had loads of fun, worked with enthusiasm, enjoyed the company of other students, improved their skills and performed with energy and talent.

The performance was based around “rock and roll” and the students performed various classics, including “Rock around the Clock”, “Splish Slash”, “Da Do Run Run” and “See you Later Alligator”. All students were on stage for five items and the hour length show was a tribute to their focus, enthusiasm and undoubted talent. The group 2 play, “Alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day” was a stand out with all of the students’ acting skills coming to the fore. The show concluded with the entire company dancing to “Shout”. What an energizing finale it was!

Much praise is due to our brilliant teachers, Bec, Michelle, Danielle and Brian, who conducted the workshop with dedication and professionalism. A huge thank you is given to the parents for their support of the Bright Lights Holiday Workshop and the love, care and support given to their children. Finally, to the students, themselves, who deserve all possible praise for their focus, enthusiasm, performance skills and social harmony.

There will be another Holiday Workshop in July. If you want to have lots of fun, express and improve your singing, dancing and acting skills and be part of a fantastic performance then get your name on the list. Till then, “keep rocking”.
